Awkward moment

Finally finished one of my personal concept art. I tried to go down on clean lines and just focus on sketchy, patches painterly approach... but for some reason... it still looks cartoony lolzzzz... can't seem to get that painterly realistic effect, but i think i was able to get out the mood of the moment with the colors. I guess my own unique style seems to adapt on different art styles. Feel free to critique.
